[Project 52] 06 Tea Party

This week fits the theme perfectly to my current whereabouts.
tea is a staple food in Japan. A distinction is primarily between お茶 (o-cha), green tea, and 红茶 (kou-cha), black tea. These are available with various flavorings and different temperatures (hot, warm room, chilled, as ice). Tea you can get just about anywhere. Be it from the Konbini (Convenience Store), from the many street machines or in a restaurant. And of course it is the Japanese tea ceremony.

It is bitter, green powdered tea, which is usually served with a sweet. The ceremony will take place according to strict rules that determine not only how the tea is made, but also how it is enriched and drunk.
And come now to the point: Of course
I've taken part Teezermonie NO. I had my very own "tea party" and in an American chain called "Jonathan" in Tokyo. There was Matcha latte from a vending machine that you could make up for breakfast in infinite quantities. And it tastes great! Despite an unusual color, highly recommended!
